Sneaker Campaign
On November 4th, 2024, Balenciaga launches a new campaign featuring the 6XL
Sneaker, the latest addition to the brand’s ongoing exploration of sculptural
footwear. Still-life images accompany Chris Lensz’s portraits of models Khadim
and Lise, highlighting the 6XL in a monochromatic white colourway.
The 6XL builds on Balenciaga's signature approach to hybridity and distortion, reimagining the iconography and textures of classic sports sneakers. Its volume is designed for versatility, pairing effortlessly with the House’s entire range of signature silhouettes.
Its rounded sole and pumped-up lines taper in at the midsection to create a distinctive hourglass shape. The curves allow the sole to roll naturally, and a padded interior secures the foot, ensuring stability and maximising comfort.
