For this treatment process, foil is initially attached to a sheet of paper and then heat-transferred onto the leather itself. The foil has a low resistance to abrasions and scratches, and is therefore susceptible to wear and damage from even gentle rubbing, which cannot be corrected. It is impossible to guarantee that its appearance will remain unchanged with standard use. Marks or irregularities may stand out; however, they should not be seen as flaws as they are inherent to the materials and techniques used.
